Managing high rise residential communities in the Houston area means vertical transportation (elevators) is/are critical to our residents’ safety, welfare, and way of life. Elevators are also a focal point for prospective buyers. After all who wants to climb the stairs in a high-rise to get home? This is why we invest thousands of dollars every year to maintain and service our elevators.

Following a recent modernization, our elevators did not run smoothly. As a matter of fact, entrapments and call backs increased sending management and residents in to deep concern. After months of failed attempts to repair the new systems, our legal council recommended that we call in SETEC Elevators to offer analysis and advice.

After a complete audit of the elevators, SETEC identified numerous engineering and mechanical deficiencies. SETEC Elevators provided a detailed system investigation followed by expert report of findings, troubleshooting advice, and supported us through the actions necessary to recover our investment and restore our elevators to good working order.

When we built our beautiful home we wanted a large, (commercial) elevator. The company our builder chose may have been in "over their heads", but one little problem after another occurred. One glitch was that the car would "Stop" between floors. Repeated visits, by young boys from the installing company, resulted in excuses and "adjustments". No Solutions.

After one particularly frightening entrapment I went to an Elevator Consultant to ask "Who is...THE MAN ?"

Enter Tom Harrison and SETEC!  From the first view, I knew we had the correct contact.  Before Tom even looked at the elevator itself he studied the blue prints for its construction and spotted several inconsistencies. Some things just didn't connect....others didn't add up.

Within hours, Tom and his team had corrected the major hitches and before leaving suggested several alternatives which might upgrade and secure our lift more completely.

End result: Flawless performance with safety measures backed up by secondary failsafes.

Our elevator was not working and another well know elevator and elevator repair company had been working on it for 2 full days with zero results. SETEC and especially the owner, Tom Harrison, was recommended to me.
